1. Choose a story
A grown-up opens the adventures and chooses a theme. The free shadow theater is a good place to start. Read the description and materials before preparing.
2. Make it yours
Enter a name or nickname, age and number of players. Choose Dutch or English and Gentle, Standard or Challenging difficulty. Match it to the group and the help you want to provide.
3. Choose hiding places and a reward
Enter recognisable, reachable places in your home. Pick a separate location for a reward you provide, such as a note or small surprise. Choose safe places that require no climbing and keep children away from hot appliances, medicines and cleaning products.
4. Print and prepare
Read the complete parent packet. Choose the paper size, print the play pages, then cut or fold as instructed. Keep parent pages separate: they include answers and secret locations. Some search puzzles have several loose cards; hide them separately as directed.
5. Check and start
Check each hiding place, put the reward in place and confirm the physical preparation in the app. The children play together on one iPhone or iPad. A grown-up stays nearby and manages the parent area.
6. Search, solve and cooperate
Follow the story, read or listen to the task and find its physical clue. Combine what the paper and app tell you. Take turns discovering and using the device. Use hints or the parent entry when helpful.
7. Find the reward
The finale builds on earlier discoveries. After solving it, the app reveals the reward location you entered. Find it together and celebrate the adventure.
